Fort Washington, Author/Biographer - Anita Hackley-Lambert has been called to fill the position as the Regional Representative of the Maryland Chapter of the National Association of Women Writers (NAWW). The Maryland Chapter is one of the more than 13 chapters, nationwide and the only one in Maryland. The National Association of Women Writers founded by Sheri` McConnell in 2001 was established to build a growing support network and help provide assistance to women writers of all genres. "The NAWW is an organization for all women writers to come together and share knowledge and experience as well as motivate, inspire, encourage and give endless support to one another," McConnell says. All women who write or desire to improve their writing skills (professional or aspiring) regardless of portfolio are welcome to join us at our upcoming event. First Meeting Scheduled - A Call For Women Writers The first meeting of the Maryland Chapter scheduled for Thursday, October 19, at 6:30 pm at Coffee and Conversations on Old Fort Road in Fort Washington, Maryland.
